My Bio

If you would ask Dana to describe herself in no more than six words, her reply would be: "I love to sing country music."

Dana is a very talented singer-songwriter.  She thinks about music constantly, and works hard every day doing something with her music, whether singing, writing new songs, or just strumming the guitar.  "When I am on stage I just get these amazing comfortable feelings, because I enjoy entertaining people so much.  I really think I was put on this earth to sing."

Dana's music is, for the most part, relationship-based positive songs, with undercurrent themes of love, hope for the future, and strength through adversity.

Recording under her own label, "SugarTree Records", Dana released "Just A Country Girl" in 2004 and "Stronger Now" in 2005. While the first two albums had a few new songs written by local songwriters, Dana was thrilled to release in December, 2006 her self-titled album, "Dana Sewell" which has 10 songs written by Dana, with help from Jerry Haire, of Coal Miner's Daughter Recording Studio, Hurricane Mills, TN.

Besides opening shows for Josh Turner, Tracy Lawrence, Ty Herndon, Jeff Bates, Trace Adkins and Craig Morgan, Dana has the voice to sing an excellent National Anthem.  She has performed for several groups, including the Indiana Pacers, Cincinnati Reds, and the Indianapolis Colts.

If you like country music, you will love Dana!

Thanks, and Happy Singing!!!!!!
